The Mary M. Abell, M.D. Primary Care Clinic in the Herschel L. Abbott, Jr. Building is located in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans and serves residents of the greater New Orleans community. St. Thomas is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), as designated by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

The St. Thomas Heart and Vascular Support services offered at this building aim to not only treat patients, but educate them to reduce the risk of common illnesses. Our mission is to provide culturally competent, high-quality healthcare to all, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. We accept most insurance types, including Medicare and Medicaid. We also offer payment options on a sliding scale based on financial need for both the uninsured and underinsured.
